What is Savona Rug?

Savona is a coastal city in Italy's Liguria region, and like the city it is named after, it has a design philosophy that prioritizes tranquility, comfort, and quality of life. Apex Halı's Savona collection, a thicker and denser version of the Lava series, has been specially developed for bathroom and bedroom use.

With a pile height of 12 mm and a density of 1,450 g/m², Savona is Apex's thickest rug in the bathroom and bedroom category. The warm, soft ground you'll feel underfoot when you take your first step with morning grogginess is Savona's core promise.

Why is a Bath Mat Important?

Bathroom floors are mostly hard, cold, and slippery ceramic. Stepping on a slippery surface with wet feet after showering or bathing is both uncomfortable and dangerous. A good bath mat solves three problems at once: it warms the floor, prevents slipping, and absorbs wet footprints.

Savona's loop surface quickly absorbs water and dries quickly. Its non-slip backing creates a safe surface when exiting the shower. Its 12 mm thickness provides thermal comfort even on cold ceramic.

Care and Cleaning

The polyester loop structure is moisture resistant and dries quickly. Small-sized models can be washed in a washing machine on the hand wash mode; washing once a week is recommended for hygiene. For large sizes, professional cleaning should be preferred.

Color Selection Recommendations

Neutral tones (white, cream, mink, gray) are among the most preferred for bathrooms and bedrooms. These colors both give an impression of hygiene and visually enlarge small spaces. Anthracite and dark gray tones create a strong contrasting effect in contemporary bathrooms.
