What is Ambiance Carpet?

Ambiance means 'environment' and 'atmosphere' in French. Apex Carpet's Ambiance collection, true to its name, is a special carpet series that transforms the entire atmosphere of a room, combining ethnic patterns and natural color tones.

Woven from a blend of Polyester and Cotton, Ambiance carpets offer a distinct fullness and thermal comfort underfoot with a pile height of 10 mm and a density of 2,500 g/m². This value is well above standard machine-made carpets on the market.

Ambiance Carpet's Pattern and Style Language

The Ambiance collection is inspired by Iranian, Afghan, and Anatolian weaving traditions. Medallion compositions, botanical borders, and an antique-effect color palette make these carpets feel like part of both a classic and a well-lived space.

The antique effect is a deliberate design choice: the carpet appears as if it has been used for years, its color settled and character acquired over time. This feature places Ambiance among the rare collections that add a sense of history even to a brand new home.

Ambiance Carpet Care

Due to the structural density of the Polyester-Cotton blend, Ambiance carpets are only suitable for professional cleaning. Attempting to wash at home can cause permanent damage to the carpet's texture and colors. Regular vacuuming is sufficient; for stained areas, a damp cloth can be gently pressed.

Which Spaces Is It Suitable For?

Ambiance is essential for ethnic and bohemian style decorations. When combined with dark wooden furniture, wicker accessories, and earthy tones, it creates an oriental warmth. It is recommended for living rooms, sitting rooms, and bedrooms. It is designed for relaxation and seating areas, not for high-traffic corridors.
